| Brenda Milota feels that the answer to all the
world's problems is "just love". It all starts with
us. All of us have a gift that we brought into this life. One
of the purposes of education is to enable us to remember this
gift so that we can, in turn, give it. Brenda lives in Ojai,
California with her husband, Robert. She is a native Californian
and loves to walk in nature and feel her peace. Brenda is an
administrator at Laurel Springs School and is also a massage
and Reiki practitioner. She actively pursues knowledge in herbs,
flower essences, essential oils and alternative education. |

| Projects include participation in the setting
up of a Young General Assembly for the United Nations, and facilitating
young people's involvement in youth councils/forums, and developing
conflict resolution strategies such as in the Northern Ireland
Peace Process where young people wrote to Senator George Mitchell
about Childrens' Right to Peace. This particular project known
as the "Wall of Peace" began during the Clinton Presidency
when Hillary Clinton replied to a letter written by these young
people asking her for her thoughts on peace, and the project
is now inscribed on a stone paver as the "Wall of Peace
Belfast UK" forming part of the Celebration Circle in the
Clinton Presidential Center in Arkansas. As well as working in
Schools with children who have special needs, Bibi also works
with UNICEF where she teaches children and young people about
the values of the UNITED NATIONS and the Convention on the Rights
of the Child and how by becoming global citizens they can make
a big difference in the lives of other children and young people
who live in poverty and despair. |
